This is such a sad story, and all over $35. #LasVegas police are looking for a woman who they say used a stolen car to run over and kill a nail salon worker and mother of three after failing to pay for her $35 manicure. Authorities said the customer got a manicure at the salon on Saturday but her credit card declined when she went to pay. She went to her car and told salon workers that she would come back to pay another way but then tried to drive away, according to @AP.

That’s when one of the salon’s manicurist, identified by authorities as 51-year-old #NgocQNguyen of #GardenGrove, California, ran in front of the woman’s car to try and stop the customer from driving off. Police said the customer ran Nguyen over and then drove off. Nguyen was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The Clark County Coroner’s Office said the cause of death was multiple blunt-force injuries. The suspect was in a rental car that authorities discovered had been stolen three weeks ago. The car has since been found abandoned at a nearby apartment complex.

Investigators don’t believe the person who rented the car was connected to the crime and are reviewing surveillance video to try to identify the woman. Authorities have not released a description for the suspect. We are praying for the family of this wife and mother and hope that the suspect is brought to justice.
